Benita Giller's interest in the combinations of beads and various components forms a style of art which is truly unique. She is a resident of Austin, Texas, and has a BFA and an MFA degree from the University of North Texas. She has a broad background in the arts which includes painting, drawing, illustration, sculpture, and jewelry making. She also has teaching experience in these disciplines at the college level.

From an extensive collection of beads and other small "found" elements, including Seed Beads, African Trade Beads, Semi-precious Stones, and miscellaneous items of Bone, Sterling Silver, Coins, Crystal, and pieces of all things she considers fascinating, she combines the shapes, textures, and colors of many things to creates paintings, jewelry, and miniature beaded chairs and manikins. Her work has been in many galleries and museums throughout the Southwest.
